This is my 2D project. All the materials I needed to do this project were, a sheet of paper, a pencil, an eraser, and Conner Bohlens idea of drawing a fish. I first drew the fish and began to shade it. Then, I drew the the faded trees (left back side). Now, I continue to draw the trees in the background. Next, I plan on drawing part of the lake and maybe the reflection of the trees on it. I learned a new skill while doing this drawing, I learned to draw evergreen trees. I would add some more trees in the back left. Also i would add some better ripples in the water. I would add this because it would make the overall drawing alot more complex and better looking.
I chose to have Conner and I in the photo, we are pretty good friends as you can see we have known each other for a long time. I didn't want to erase him because it would have been an awkward silhouette and the shark is a better fit for the picture. I chose the dolphin and to replace it with a shark, so it would look like we were getting attacked.
First, we had to get some ideas and get them on paper. Make sure any words or letters are backwards. Next, you got to make the back of the paper filled with lead. Then, press really hard and trace your drawing again onto the linoleum. Then, you got to carve out what you want to be white when you print. I first just carved the deer and outlined my name. Then for my second color i carved out my whole name. When you print you got to use a broyer and ink up the linoleum. Then press the linoleum down on the sheet of paper and make sure you press down every corner and edge. Keep repeating that step until the piece of paper is full of prints. Next, if you are like me and do two colors. Now you would carve out the stuff you want to stay the first color you did. Now do the second color and do the steps from earlier. This is my finished project. I really like how the name stands out from the blue. Also how the buck stands out very well.
